Joining by domain
Let colleagues with your company's email domain join by themselves, or admit only people you invite.
A company organisation can let anyone who signs in with its email domain join as a member, without an invitation. This is on by default.
Turn it on or off
- In the web app, open Organisation.
- At the foot of People, find Anyone signing in with an @yourdomain address joins as a member.
- Tick or untick on.
Only owners and admins can change it.
When it is off
Only invited people can join. Someone from your domain who signs in without an invitation is told that your organisation admits only the people it invites, and to ask one of its owners for an invitation. See Invite people.
Personal organisations
A personal organisation, for a Gmail or similar address, always admits only the people it invites. People who share a public email provider are not colleagues, so this cannot be turned on.
