Messages and what they mean
The messages you are most likely to see, in plain words, with what to do about each.
Showreel Studio's messages try to say what to do next. This table explains the common ones. Words in angle brackets stand for your own film, kit or address.
Signing in and the licence

Your sign-in has expired. Run: showreel login | Sign-ins last 30 days. Sign in again. |
Licence: no licence key on the organisation | An owner needs to attach the key. See Your licence. |
the licence expired on <date> or the licence was revoked | Contact Showreel Studio. |
the organisation is suspended; contact Showreel Studio | Showreel Studio has paused your organisation. Contact them. |
(the service is unreachable; N day(s) of grace left) | A warning only. Your Mac keeps working on its last licence check for up to seven days. |
The service could not be reached and the grace period is over | Check your internet connection, then run the command again. |
that licence belongs to another organisation; ask Showreel Studio to move it | The key is attached to another organisation. |
Setting up a project

Building, sharing and recording

This film cannot be recorded in the cloud: <host> is not reachable from the internet | The app is on your Mac or a private network. Record on your Mac instead. |
your organisation already has 2 recordings running | Your organisation has as many cloud recordings running as it may at once. Wait for one to finish. |
a file is over 30 MB or the job's files are over 250 MB | There is too much to send in one go. When sharing, build fewer extra shapes and extras; for a cloud recording, send a smaller app folder. |
this recording plays at the film's share link; publish another version or withdraw the link first | You cannot delete a recording a link plays. |
Permissions and writing
